Favorite past time

Well, as much as I hate to admit it...lying in my hammock has be come my favorite way to spend spare time. This last weekend we went camping with a group from our church. (At Pine Lake) It was very relaxing. We did nothing, but talk and eat! The weather felt more like Fall than August. Uncle Tom was able to fish and caught two large mouth bass. On a walk we took we saw 15 turkeys~ma and 14 babies. Also 4 cows that Amos wanted to chase.

I really needed to relax as some of you know, I found out that I have my old job back; however, around 20 people were told they no longer have jobs. Several of the people I am very close to. It has been an emotional roller coaster. So I was ready to eat and nap in my hammock.

That sounds like the perfect weekend to me! I feel like I never have time to read anymore or lay down in general without being asleep within 20 seconds! I hope this week is going better emotionally. Take care!

Bethany, me too.....hey, I went out and bought the book "The Shack" because I have seen it several times in the store and did not know if I could read it due to missy being killed, but bought it because I saw it on your blog...I am still in the beginning, but it seems pretty good! I am where he just went back to the shack.

Lesa,

The hammock thing sounds nice but I could never get it to hold still long enough to get comfortable. Looking at the campground photo sure makes it look inviting. Glad you & Tom have been able to get out this summer.
