Big Week Ahead

I wanted to get a quick post up to let you all know that this will be a big week for Jared and we would both covet your prayers. Miraculously, amidst lay offs galore, Jared has had four phone interviews in the last couple of weeks and will be going to for in-person interviews this week for two of them!

The first is in a small town in the Blue Ridge Mountains (Brevard, NC). We are cautiously optimistic and like the idea of moving to a small town. It sounds a lot like the area Jared grew up, in terms of lots of tourists and a great community. It's also the waterfall capital. The company is small, but in good standing. Jared thinks the work sounds exciting... so we'll see. He'll be leaving about 3am tonight/tomorrow morning for an early flight out of Manchester. He'll be home in the wee early hours of Friday.

The second interview is Friday afternoon and is at another smallish company in Cambridge, MA. We're less excited about this option only becuase we aren't sure we'd really like to stay in Boston indefinitely, but God has definitely softened us a lot. We're open to where He leads.

Of course, it could be that neither of these jobs are the one... we'll just have to wait and see. Please pray that we would have patience and be content where we are for today and not to worry about tomorrow.
